Baby Lenna
Baby Lenna’s dad and I have known each other for a long time. We were in the same church youth group growing up, all through high school, and even attended the same college together for a short while. As it normally goes, over the years we went our separate ways and slowly lost touch. However, our parents still attended the same church together, so whenever I would visit there, I always enjoyed catching up with them and hearing just how he was going. I still remember when they first told me they were going to be grandparents. They were so excited they could hardly contain it! So of course, almost immediately we booked a newborn session, and started counting down the days until she arrived! And then, the world fell apart.
I was so disappointed to have to put her session on hold. I would much rather be safe than sorry, and I knew the lock-down wouldn’t last forever, but boy, it was so hard waiting! But looking back now in hindsight, I’m glad we did wait, or I don’t think we would have gotten as many adorable photos as we did! She was the happiest most smiley baby I think I’ve ever photographed! Nothing melts my heart faster than a sweet baby smile J Congratulations Tyler and Kryssi! It was wonderful to get to meet you and reconnect again. I can’t wait to see how much she grows when we get together to do her six-month photos!
Grandma and Grandpa just had to jump in for a few! They are so proud!
